Pradarolo - Barbera - Parma

Ingredients: grapes, and you can taste it in this full-on storage wine from Pradarolo. The pradarolo estate is located in the hills of Parma, 500 meters above sea level. They follow strict rules toward sulfite use, natural yeasts on the skins and filtering or other interventions. The wines are made with long macerations from 30 days to 9 months. And they use the local grape varieties: malvasia, barbera, croatina, termarina,... The 2013 is still slightly fruitier, but the subtle tertiary aromas are already coming more to the fore.
