Eric Thill - Chardonnay - Côtes du Jura

Eric grows Savagnin, chardonnay and Poulsard. These slightly oxidative Jura wines combined with Eric's elegant style makes a fine selection of Jura terroir. The Préfleur underwent an ouillage. This means that the wine in the barrel is continually replenished with new wine for two years. The last year a flor layer (typical of Jura) is created to protect the wine from oxygen. In this last year one also adds wine on the flor layer. Certified organic as of 2015 and already working biodynamically on the now 5.8 hectares of vineyards.
