Staffelter Hof - Mosel

Some of the grapes were given skin-contact for two weeks, to ferment in a bone-dry Muller-Thurgau after pressing. The grapes themselves come from a vineyard named "Paradie" with a subsoil of slate and clay. On this plot, the clusters of the Muller Thurgau clone are slightly wider. There is more space between the grapes , so there is less chance of rot and also no need to intervene in the vineyard. The wine is as die-hard as AC/DC's title song of the same name.
