Staffelter Hof - Spätburgunder - Mosel

A mineral Pinot Noir with an interesting tension between acidity and fruit. Because of the many acids and high sugar concentrations, high amounts of sulfite are added to German wines. Wines without any addition are still scarce there. Jan Matthias Klein took the risk and bottles part of his harvest sulfite-free. He also calls this Pinot Noir Pinot Nu or naked Pinot Noir.
